I started this blog in 2005 when I was a college freshman at Sarah Lawrence. I mostly blogged about trying to figure out my DSLR and shenanigans with my girl friends. That next fall I came home to the University of Minnesota where some of my best memories were made on campus at Alpha Omicron Pi.
Since then, life's changed: I now own two small businesses, The Jadeite Shutter, my photography brand, and Chintz Petit, a handmade shop featuring vintage inspired baby clothing. When I'm not knee deep in either of those I'm the communications person at my church, Calvary Baptist.
At the end of the day I'm a lover of good light, God's word, and the crunch of autumn leaves under the heel of a Frye boot.
