Like everyone else I can get stuck in a rut: buying the same snacks/food, picking the same lotion I love-- boring! I think my fear was that if I tried something new and hated it I'd have to use it up until I was done.
Back in the day I used to do "sorority snaps" on this blog. Those were great days. In lieu of that I'm going to share a few of my [new] favorite things that I tried in February.
{Scent: Voluspa's orangerie d'azahar is so sweet and covered up a multitude of bad kitchen smells after a weekend of cooking.}
{Drink: Katie brought over this ginger pop. I was kind of skeptical because I'm not crazy about ginger plain. It was good-ish, I'll be real though, it was a lot better with rum!}
{Taste: I noticed these adorable yogurts at Rainbow and quickly read the ingredient list... they are not organic, but the yogurt comes from grass-fed cows and it's made here in the USA in Georgia. Well, I like to suppot my southern roots and I love good graphics, so I was sold. Not as good as my favorite Brown Cow, but not bad.}
{Craft: I made this button monogram for Roby and Eason's joint birthday party. I have to say that this project was easy and I feel like I will make a few more of these. They are perfect gifts!}
{Drink (two): I absolutely adore Tazo's green ginger tea. It is my favorite tea forever. It makes me happy and reminds me of different seasons in my life. I also decided to try this berry blossom white, too. I love the packaging-- no surprise there.}
{Heal: I heard that tea tree oil is great for healing. While I haven't put it right on my incisions I put it on the rest of my feet and neck. I love how good it smells. Warning: you don't want this to get in your eyes, so wash your hands after using it!}
There they are. Did you try anything new this month that has become a new favorite?
