I am a nostalgic woman. I often miss the places of my past and long to walk back through the halls one more time and meet the woman I was then and say, "this and this and that is going to happen." I often look back with a smile on my time spent the most darling duplex around:
So much happened in my life when I lived here, most of all I had the experience of living with my two dearest friends, Becky and Kate.
I love how symmetrical my bedroom arrangement was. I love that I found a matching lamp shade on ebay after buying the first one before moving to college years beforehand, talk about a stroke of luck!
Creating this dining room art was one of my favorite decorating projects here. Someday I'll do something like that again. We ate tons of meals here, entertained friends and flirted with a few dates. I can just see Kate's coach wristlit and keys on the corner and my work bag slung over one of the chairs.
We had the most magical light in the kitchen (not that this photo says that!) I can't stand to think about it. It was huge, too. It was here where I fell in love with a pull out freezer and fiestaware.
I decorated for the holidays on Xerxes earlier, I just couldn't resist. Those three frames now live in Uptown, Watertown and St. Paul respectively. I wish I could find that teeny tree.
I am so glad I captured where I lived, it's so fun to take a peek back and remember excactly how the space looked.
