Oh my goodness. Let's just say I am a work-in-progress with my wardrobe. I like to think I was fashionable in high school, but let's face it, that was years ago. Blame it on a small budget, crazy cold winters or just plain laziness but I haven't been putting the effort into dressing that I would like to! I've spoken about this before here. I think I sometimes struggle because of my profession. I need to be dressed up, but can be very expressive or as my mother likes to put, "artsy," but I also need to be modest as well. Maybe joining the famous Pleated Poppy's link up with help. Here goes nothing.

This day I had a work event, another work event and then after party from event one! This meant lots of shooting, chasing down the mayor to get a photo of him and eating fancy appetizers. I love my job!

Starting the morning out bright and early with newborn bebe photography. It was the first cooler day and I wanted to bundle up. I am such a tights and dresses kind of girl, it's just my thing. It makes me happy to dress like this.

I had to represent for game day! Although I had to work in the am (didn't wear this) and didn't go to the game I wanted to wear my maroon and gold in support of The Gophers! A group of friends and I ended up going to the apple orchard and then did a night out in lovely Stillwater, more on that later. I actually got too hot and took the boots off and wore sandals.

Between picking up two Scandinavian wedding cakes to photograph and running to two book stores to find the Esther Bible Study, it was a day of lots and lots of driving. I started the morning early at Caribou while my car got some new tires. I'm loving these cooler mornings, what a relief from the summer heat!
