This spring was busy at The Magazine. You all know this :) I'm glad I survived! Whew. Here are a few of my favorites from the past few issues.
This cute couple owns a small record shop in south Minneapolis. I fell in love with their vintage, hippy style. Now of course I want a record player.
For our Homes' issue I photographed three darling bedrooms in one incredible home. The homeowner wanted to create something beautiful and whimsical for her three little girls. Instead of paint she wallpapered the ceilings. How cool is that!?
This man is one great doctor. Isn't that background pretty, too? It's the brand-spanking-new Children's hospital right near the U of MN. Such a gorgeous facility!
Harriet Brasserie opened recently and I think this is an arnold palmer. I was there to shoot ambiance photos but had to capture this one. I have a soft spot for colorful drinks.//Bakery cake action at a cool place downtown. I want to learn how to frost cakes like that!
I loved this book display at I Like You, which sells only locally made stuff.//The outrageoulsy delicious and beyond decadent lobster grilled cheese with egg from Butcher + Boar. I got a bite or two in before the kitchen staff devoured it!
There's a cool theatre here called First Avenue, outside they paint names on stars in the perfect-almost font-like brushstrokes of those who have preformed there. I've never been to a show, but I'm hoping to go sometime this year.
