If you're a facebooker, then you know about the "25 random things" that everyone is writing in their notes section, and tagging friends to do the same. Lindsay tagged me, along with a few others, so I decided to write mine here. After all, this truly is my favorite online place, and it's been oh so long since there was a classic blog tag. So here we go. 25 random things:
1- I am a huge tea drinker. Love it. Mostly herbal, and green, too.
2- I am a senior graduating with a bachelors of arts in Communication and History this May 17th!
3- Currently I live with about 30 some other women in a sorority house
4- I wear my Ugg boots nearly every day (I have two pairs)
5- My favorite color is pale pink, but I wear lots of black and gray (hey, it's winter)
6- Growing up, I nicknamed my dad's saab turbo "the bat mobile" : )
7- I think Lilys of the Valley are the most beautiful, sweet smelling flower. I love when I find them randomly around my neighborhood, always tucked in the shade and hiding in their deep green stems.
8- I have lived in MN, NYC, OR, and (for a summer) in UT
9- I didn't really care for OR or UT. NYC was fun, but expensive, and MN... just right!
10- I have more freckles than some Irish people
11- My current roommate is one of my best friends, Kate, who I consider like family
12- Because I'm in the "Greek System" I have both a big and lil sister as well as a big and lil brother!
13- I cook nearly every weekend with my boyfriend, J.
14- I clean my parent's house for extra money. My favorite part is when the house is all clean and organized, my least favorite part is vacuuming.
15- I don't like my smile. Sad.
16- I name my playlists on my ipod/itunes funny names, like "70s Sept"
17- Since I started blogging, I have found friends who also blogged or started a few others in the process... like Karen (already did it), Kate, Lindsay, Dad...
18- I'm glad I no longer attend the Dinkytown Singles Ward, and went back to my Catholic roots.
19- Speaking of roots, I had blond hair for a year and a half in high school (tasteful dark blond, and I died my brows, too)
20- I like window clings, calendars, office supplies, and pasta carbonara
21- My mom gave me flowers this week, and was very kind to throw in some hot chocolate, too.
22- I like sending cards to people. Not letters, but cards to congratulate, celebrate, or say "I miss/Love you"
23- I never need to move, and if I do, I want to go east, the west doesn't really work for me. But it's gorgeous out there!
24- I enjoy reading books about... Dystopian Societies (The Handmaid's Tale, 1984), Women's accounts of the Holocaust, and Photography
25- I want to someday live in a gorgeous, historic home and fill it with amazing pieces that I find for very cheap : )
