•I made a giant recipe binder for my mom. She had years, and years, and years worth of newspapers saved as well as lots of loose leaf printed out or hand written recipes. Because I don't like clutter I decided to do this:
•Very, very easy to do. The supplies I used were as follows: 1 sheet of pretty patterned paper, cardstock, page protectors (from staples), a giant 3" binder, assorted kitchen-themed charms, and a computer. Did I mention that I printed out what I needed to on my new Epson? I am so happy. The old, broken one was sent back to the manufacturer free of charge. : )
•I love putting stuff in the clear spines of binders. I do it with school, scrapbooks, and even this. Now she can see what it is when it's just sitting on the shelf. Very easy to do, too.
•A peak inside...

Very good idea, I need to make that for myself.

what a fun project! That's totally the kind of thing I would do. "Okay mom, it's time to organize _____" :) I bet your mom is loving having you home for winter break.

Waht an amazing thing to do for your mom! I have a stack of clipped recipes sitting at the bottom of a box just waiting for me to get around to doing the same. Another reason I need a daughter!

I have a binder just like that for my recipes that my mom gave me before college (yours is cuter though) and I love it. It even has some page protectors that have slots the size of recipe cards. What a great gift!
