journey to the western woods.
Dad,
You know how you and I just love fall, and it is kind of our favorite season? As seen it the photo below... taken last year (eek long hair)
(I totally have your eye brows. thanks and no thanks)
Well, do you also remember that we both love that Sleepy Hollow movie with Johnny in it? How could you forget? We saw it in theaters back in the day...
No, I did not watch this good film tonight with the sorority sisters. Instead I popped in this number, and it reminded me of you for two reasons: a) great violin music b) excellent cinematography, which I know you appreciate.
Yes, The Village. Good readers, have you seen either one of these? They will put you in a fall/Halloween mood so quick it might make your head spin... or roll!
Happy Fall. xoxo. Creole Wisdom.

Adorable picture of you and your Dad-
I've seen the Village- {so liked it} but haven't seen Sleepy Hollow yet.
Enjoy the beginnings of Fall- bet you get beautiful fall colors there.....not so much here. :{

I loved The Village (really, I love all of M. Night's movies). I've only seen it once, but you're right -- it does have a great fall vibe to it.

Kent finally convinced me to watch the Village with him--I was hesitant because I did not like Signs AT ALL. But I absolutely loved The Village. Very fall-ish, and it has a neat way of making you think about human nature and society; I love movies/stories that make you think.

Oh, The Village gave me nightmares, as do all of his movies. It was very creative, but too freaky for me. Did I mention that I am very susceptible to nightmares? I will have them for weeks after watching just the preview of a scary movie, and will wake up so terrified that I am afraid to move. I guess that puts Sleepy Hallow out for me then. I will have to search elsewhere for my fall inspiration, which I desperately need in this 90 degree weather :).
PS. I love the photo of yu and your dad!
