You know how sometimes good things happen to me? Like last night. My mother called, "would you like to go see the Guthrie's production of Little House on the Prairie?" Obviously. How could I pass that up. You know, I thought I was Laura growing up. I'm serious. I had it all: the hardcover books, the paperdolls, the picture books, the cook book, a pioneer Halloween costume, trips to historic Ingalls sites with cousins during hot Midwestern summers.
{ I cannot wait to get back home to my prairie to see this, we're going the night of my homecoming. Life is good.

Oh my gosh! I could have written this post myself! I was obsessed with LHOTP! I was totally into the books and all that jazz. I was her for Halloween and I made sure everybody knew I wasn't just a pioneer, I was Laura Ingalls dangit! Ha!

Thanks for the compliments on my blog! SOrry I never got back to your thread. I live in St Cloud, so this was at SCSU.
Glad you are coming "home" soon. Oh, and thank you...you just reminded me that I wanted to get tickets to Little House. Rock on Half Pint!
