keepin' it real
So, you know, I am all about keepin' it real. I mean, what is the point of pretending your life is perfect on some blog when all know life is generally pretty rough (fun, but rough). Anyway, I was just laughing when Shannon tagged me to do this challenge. I hope you are not too turned off by these real- unedited- photos of my life-
1. Fridge: Now, keep in mind my dearest readers that I have just moved in and my payday is on Friday. So just put those two pieces of knowledge together along with the fact that my roomies are not cooking/eating in kind of people.
2. Closet: Since I already showed you my bedroom closet, which is still pretty and organized I thought I'd show you the hall closet. I keep all my linens and miscellaneous bathroom items here. As you can see I like to keep it all essential: beach towel, cute sheets, wash clothes, hairdryer (thanks Mom), detergent, extra hair product, and tampons. I am not really sure what that ugly stain is on the bottom right hand side. : (

3. Kitchen Sink: Not much so say I guess. It's usually pretty clean- Ya'll know I'm kind of obsessive right? Um, you didn't? You must not read this blog often enough. Anyway, I am, and with that comes a cleaning fetish and desire to cover all in bleach and softscrub (I can do some mean work on a high chair back at the daycare, you should of seen me...)
4. Toilet: Not too bad. It got cleaned on Saturday, so that is really helpful.
5. Favorite Shoes: I am not that much of "shoe person," but I do appreciate some cute ones when I find them. These are so hott to me right now, my cowgirl boots from the MN State Fair. I am just in love with them, the fair, and all they represent-
6. My favorite Room: Bedroom, I guess.
7. What are my kids doing: No kids, yet. Maybe they're annoying God?
8. Laundry: Now, you got me on a good day. I just put a load in before I shot this.
9. Self Portrait: Keep in mind it was really hot, so that explains the hair- and my mirror is dirty!
10. Dream Vacation: You know I want to go to Provence, and see something like this:
So, I tag: Emily Kate, Brittany, Keya, and NieNie

*your fridge doesn't look too bad -- milk and a giant tub of salsa. what else do you need? ;)
*And I'm smiling at the fact that you brought your cowgirl boots along for the summer. But I have to agree, they are very cute.

and I love your cowgirl boots also- I've never owned a pair of "cowgirl" boots and I love shoes! Guess I need to expand for shoe collection :}

I'm commenting 'cause I miss you, and that does not look like a Katie Harris fridge to me.

Katie:
We will address the fridge issue when I arrive --- is there a Whole Foods in Utah? Please let people know I took you to Provence several times. I cant wait to see your pics from your story.

Love the boots! And I am so impressed how nice, albeit empty, your fridge looks, considering that you have roommates :).

What a beautiful white skirt...and it's a great self-portrait, even if the mirror is a tad smudgy!
I love the REAL stuff. I would be a bit embarrassed to do this, because I'm not as clean as you! BUT my fridge is full.
