provo hospitality
This place continues to marvel me. Not a Manhattan-skyline marvel, but like a sort of gap-mouthed admiration/disbelief. You see, at home I dodge vomit and broken bottles on the ground, and I think that gives my University town character. But in Provo, the atmosphere is just different. It is one of a kind. I cannot say that I have had a perfect, easy adjustment. For the most part though, I am finding my space and working it to my benefit (which is good, I think).
Last night my two new friends, Phil and Harrison took me on a bike ride down to Center Street. Historic Provo is so lovely. It is shaded in leafy green trees and houses sit back on manicured, kelly green lawns. We rode by a home and it turned out to be Harrison's cousins. We stopped by. They had the cutest baby and the nicest wood floors. Their 20s bungalo was gorgeous, and their kindness was, too.

Provo is a lovely place indeed. You might dodge vomit and bottles there, but that's just from all the babies! heehee ;)
That bungalow is gorgeous!

What a lovely home. Seems like your fitting in pretty well in Utah.

Center Street is lovely isn't it? I remember walking down there at like 2 in the morning with a former boyfriend (because in Provo you can safely walk around the city at 2 in the morning) and just looking at all the houses. It's the most charming part of Provo, hands down.

I love all those houses and the giant trees and the large front lawns. Glad to hear that Provo is treating you well!

I'm so glad you're liking it there. Utah is a different kind of place, that's for sure. Mm. I miss it.

I lived in an old house in Provo for a year, and I LOVED it. We even had a hammock in the front yard. It was my favorite :).
