the creations

Here are my Christmas cards from this year, it feels so fabulous to have them done and out.  I didn't want to post them on here until I was sure they had all been received.

So here's what I did:
Everything I used to make these came from one of my favorite places, papersource.  For my cards last year, I got all my supplies there as well.  I'm going to be real, it's not a cheap store.  But the quality is supreme, and since I'm not sending gifts to everyone I'm okay with putting a little more money into cards.  Really, I just get gifts for those closest to me, so the card is a gift in itself.

Ingredients:
•40 Scalloped Cards (20 3.5"x4 7/8ths") in blossom and stardream quartz
•40 4-bar envelopes in blossom and stardream quartz
•"Crystal Stickers" (acid free) in pink and white. I could not find these on the papersource website, even though I purchased them there.  However, they can be found here. They are self-adhesive, and really easy to put on.
•I just printed the photo and message off and added a signature.

All in all these were pretty easy to make.  The only tricky part is printing onto envelops, I always forget how to put the envelop in the printer to get it to come out right, but once I figure it out it's easy. I wrote personalized messages on the back to add a finishing touch. I like how classic they turned out.

Very cute!

Katie! Shame on you! Like I needed somewhere else to buy paper stuff. (I'm filling a shopping cart at papersource as I type this!)

I love your cards. LOVE them!

I talked to my sisters a bit about Provo (you're still going, correct?) They said that all of the BYU approved apartments are fun. Go for something middle of the road - not the cheapest and not the most expensive and you should have a great time!

That's beautiful. Cool idea.

The crystals in the corners are my favorite :). Lily loved them!
