no homework was neglected in the conception of this entry
I see Jay. Jay sees me. We are chatting avec sound and nonverbal communication just like the old crazy days at Sarah Lawrence. I am overjoyed, and thrilled with the ability to do this. I rummage through my Papersource bag to display my half-way created Christmas card to get Jay's approval. I display the new Starbuck's Christmas mug for her admiration. It is joyous, and she turns her camera to give me the virtual tour of her Oxford pad. And then, a flash of the envelope I sent her last week with a monogrammed note inside (a la Lauren Gossling Designs).
iChat is amazing. I'm in love. This is divine. No crazy set up drama and syncing issues
(thank the Lord).
... please forgive my crazy hair. It looks a little "bling bling" as Jay's mom would say. Hahah. But my haircut is Saturday!
what made your day?
update: this afternoon I logged onto ichat, and there was Aja (another SLC buddy) in the library with her headphones on. Perhaps others were annoyed with her vibrant conversation, but again... did we really care? (Nope)
cute huh? So fun to be able to do this, technology rocks my world.

That sounds like so much fun! I know my kids would love to chat like that with cousins and grandparents. What is ichat?

Too fun...cute pictures. I've used something like before- but the picture and sound never matched up. Tech is so much better now.

"Did we really care....NOPE!" That's so SLC, chatting in the library likes it's a dance club. Oh how I miss it. If I did that here in Oxford I would be subject to public torture. No joke. iChat was amazing. In a little under a week we can be addicts!!!
