made my day (gratitude)
Well thank you, thank you Lord above. I am heading to BYU this summer! I am thrilled beyond comprehension.
The funny thing is, I had a "Y" t-shirt on under my fleece all day, which was just a random choice. Pretty funny coincidence.
Cannot wait for the adventure. Provo here I come!
Class/professor/apartment suggestions/things I must do or see while there all summer? I know you have them readers.
PS- I so needed this, today was pretty stressful up until this point!

Get out! That's awesome...you'll be in my neck of the woods. Let's do lunch. :)

Congrats! I have some favorite profs (mostly religion and English), and I have a few I wish I never had a class from (mostly religion and English). But since there are 100s of teachers if you want to know if I even know them you can ask. :)

Oh I hope hope hope you love BYU. They are lucky to have you there. Let's meet at the Creamery some time. And then hike the Y together.
P.S. I was kidding about hiking the Y. It would kill me.

Hmm, I would be scared to give advice on where to live, since it has been a while since I was living there single. I will say that I lived all over, and my favorite place was a little house right off of campus. It was called White Gables and we had a yard, a hammock, and a huge livingroom.
About classes/teachers though, I had some amazing religion professors (I usually built my schedule around getting the right one.) Douglas Brinley, Stephen Robinson, Matthew Richardson, and N. Holzaphel (I think that is how it is spelled.) New Testament, Book of Mormon, and LDS Marriage and Family (best class ever and not at all what it sounds like) were my favs. About other classes, it depends on what you are looking for - do you want something just for fun, and something that will transfer, etc. Let me know and I could give you somemore ideas.
I am so very excited for you though!! How fun!

Oh Katie, you'll LOVE it. Like Heidi I went to BYU a million years ago. (Mine was 1995, it feels like a different lifetime!) I lived at Liberty Square, but I have no idea where to send you now. My baby sister-in-law lived in Provo for a while, I'll ask in my next email if she has any suggestions. (She's on a mission in Germany.) My other little sister-in-law lived there for a long time before she moved to SLC... when she gets back from NZ I'll ask her too!
