blogging at the speed of leopard

I am thrilled beyond all to be blogging from my brand new 15-inch MacBook Pro. It is amazing! Since the beginning of time I have been waiting to get a new laptop. My poor PowerBook G4 had been by my side since nearly the beginning of High School. Needless to say, it was time for an upgrade.

There are so many wonderful new things about this machine. I chose (after research) the MacBook Pro over the MacBook. Since I do a lot of work in Photoshop I need a faster processor, more hard drive, and memory. Some of the goodies include:
•Leopard.  Which is the new operating system (if I have my IT terms correct)
•Complete with Intel chip
•Aperture, the superior spawn of Photoshop
•Newer, faster versions of all the applications I already know and love
•Built-in camera for ichat (cannot wait to have conferences with Jay)
•And last, but not least... glow in the dark keys! Perfect when you live with early to bed roommates.

What is it about something new that makes you so excited? I am anxious to learn all the new quirks and tricks of this.

Lucky lucky girl! I'm going to get one once I get into school, but I did just upgrade my Powerbook G4 to Leopard, which was so worth the $129! Enjoy it!
