Lincoln Park After Dark
I really need to be studying for my Philosophy 1001 and Comm 3411 tests. Ah, I hate tests. Seriosuly, I'm the person who gets 100% on a paper, but D's on tests. Why is this!?! They are so horrible. So instead of preparing for failure I'm reflecting on some goodies:
•OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark. This is the most striking and beautiful nail color I have seen in forever. My sorority sister Kate got us all addicted two nights ago during a viewing of Little Women. We all came out of our lounge room looking rather stunning with this dark color.
I am obsessed with this. No kidding, last night around 11pm when I was eating my mother's homemade chocolate cake (in the still under construction home) with one of my lovers* (remember grocery store boy), I said, "did you see I painted my nails?" Ugh, how valley-girlish is that?!? But he liked it, and of course I had to relay the name of the color to him. Just in case he needed to pick some up, too.
•20% off everything at shade. Such good deals. I got this adorable turtleneck.
•Gap finally has some nice stuff. New dress for church along with opaque tights. Do you know that opaque tights are now the "thing." I wish I could find some in wild colors- like hot pink and mustard. Any tips?
•This is the most feminine and lovely top ever created. I am serious, and this store is so affordable.
*Wow, that sounded really, really ho-ish. I just like to have a lot of choices ya know.

That color is very pretty! Now go study! lol

Been wearing this color FOREVER.One of my absolute favorites. Wearing Revlon Vixen now, which is similar but more red. Once you go dark....

Love that color! I'll have to look for it next time I'm out and about. And Gap's fall stuff is so cute! I spent $130 dollars last time I was in there and justified it by "New Job, New Clothes!". The things we do to rationalize fashion. . .
I'm the same way with tests and papers, which is why Sarah Lawrence worked so well for me. Good luck!

ooooo - I love that top! Lately I'm way into flirty, feminine tops -- something other than the basic T.
Wow - that is some color. I'm sure it looked gorgeous on you. But if it was on my nails next to my pasty white Oregon skin, I think I would look a bit like a witch.
and tights . . . how fun! I haven't worn them forever because I thought they were "out". Glad to hear they're back "in".
Thanks for the fashion editorial.

Okay, so I'm thinking I need the recipe for your Mom's chocolate cake. It must be good if you are eating it that late :} Or maybe I'm just showing my age.
Love the top, red is my favorite color.
