It's official: I am a history minor. In case you were wondering I'm majoring in Mass Communications. Since my major is very business based I thought it would be a good idea to balance it out with something more in the Humanities. The funny thing is, I have half the classes done for the minor in the first place. More of a "duh" decision than anything else. Either way I am pretty excited, this University is known for keeping undergrads longer than four years, but I'm on the track to graduate on time... and with a minor. Not that I'm dying to get out of college, but I would like to get real life started (er, baby making) in a reasonable frame of time.
In other news we have been having the most superb Indian Summer. I am dying from the joy in my heart. I hate when it gets cold early. As a result the trees are just starting to get vibrant and pretty soon I'll be out to do my usual fall photo shoot(s).
I hope you all have a great weekend where ever you are.

How exciting! I only needed two classes to add a history minor to my degree, but I never could fit them in. Oh well, it's all good though.
PS. My husband found his major in a similar way. he still hadn't decided what to graduate in, and then realized he only needed 2 more classes to get a BA in German. Let's just say it wa a funny conversation when he went into the department and declared his major :).

I'm jealous of your warm temps! Fall has hit us in force this week -- highs in the 60's and a full inch of rain yesterday.
That's a pic from Marie Antoinette isn't it? -- I've got my Netflix copy of that movie sitting on my dresser, just waiting for a free evening.

Just be sure you're enjoying your life now (I know you already are ;-). Hopefully your real life will start out easier than mine-four years into it, and still no baby-I guess God had/has plans that differ from mine! :-)

Oh, to be where you live in the fall...enjoy! Love the picture...A part of me has always longed to be part of that era....not sure why..maybe it's the romance/simplicity of the period...because it's surely not the lack of running hot water .... because I'm a big fan of that. Wouldn't it be splendid if once a year we could get dressed up like that and go to the ball :}

I never got to experience college the way you are now, so I am very excited to always hear about your journey. I know you are excited for the next step, understandably, but these are days/years that you will cherish forever :)
And congrats on the minor!!!
I still haven't seen that movie, but I would like to.
